I am a Senior and was awarded MVP for Jumps for three years on the Granite Bay High School Track Team. I was just chosen as a captain for the upcoming season in 2009. Our team won the Metro League championships in 2006 and were Sierra Foothill League Champs also in 2007 and 2008. In 2007, I went to Arcadia Invitational, Stanford Invitational, Woody Wilson at UC Davis, Meet of Champions and Golden West Invitational. At Meet of Champions, I won the Frosh/Soph Long and Triple events and I broke the Meet record for LJ which was set in 1982 (22'2"). I was asked to compete in the night meet and was 1'2" off from medalling against mostly seniors. I competed at the night meet at the Golden West Invitational and placed third. Again, I was the only Sophomore at this meet. This past year I was League champ for Long Jump and also went to Woody Wilson, Stanford, Meet of Champions, Golden West, Meet of Dreams Indoor in Fresno and Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho.
I had a great Freshman season as well where I was the #1 Triple/Long jumper for Northern California in the Junior Olympics and I then went to Baltimore to compete at the Nationals.
I qualified for Sections in both Long & Triple which were held in Modesto. I then competed in Masters the following week. I will also compete in the Junior Olympics to be held in Omaha, Nebraska in July 2008.
I recently attended the Dwight Stones Track Camp in Mission Viejo, CA and was coached by Mike Powell, Willie Banks, Larry Myricks and Carol Lewis.
I played football for the Grizzlies as a running back/wide receiver and was MVP Offense my Senior and Freshman years and led the offense in my Senior and Sophomore years.
I have a DVD available. If you would like a copy, please get back with me at jump4pr@gmail.com.
